After my parents passed, I was tasked with clearing out and selling my childhood home that they had built 60 years prior. I also decided to have some fairly extensive remodel work done by an old and trusted friend to bring it up to date while also honoring my parents’ memory. But to say I was feeling overwhelmed by the tasks ahead would be an understatement. I needed to find the right agent who I hoped could help me navigate everything I had to do in the next few months. I did my research and narrowed it down to 3 agents, including Gina who had sold other homes of families I’d grown up with under similar circumstances, and who I remembered meeting and liking several years earlier. I also decided to have some fairly extensive remodel work done by an old and trusted friend to bring it up to date while also honoring my parents’ memory. But to say I was feeling overwhelmed by the tasks ahead would be an understatement. I needed to find the right agent who I hoped could help me navigate everything I had to do in the next few months. I did my research and narrowed it down to 3 agents, including Gina who had sold other homes of families I’d grown up with under similar circumstances, and who I remembered meeting and liking several years earlier. Upon meeting with my friend at the house to discuss the remodel work, he brought up Gina’s name out of the blue, saying he had worked with her extensively readying her listings for sale, that she was someone he trusted, and felt she was the best in the area who truly cared about her clients. With that unsolicited endorsement, she was my first call, and upon meeting her, I decided I didn’t need to meet with anyone else. Gina did an amazing job. We were on the same page from the start, and since I felt she knew what buyers were currently looking for better than I would, I let her make most of the decisions on materials and finishes for flooring, lighting, bathroom tile and countertops, paint colors, staging, and more. She took over this role without hesitation, lifting a lot of pressure off of me. I trusted her and my friend doing the remodel work enough to actually leave town for a month for a much-needed break while the work was being done. Still, she kept me up to date on what was going on every step of the way. When the remodel work was done, the finished product was everything I wanted it to be, and the house was sold within a month for top dollar. I also owe a shout-out to her team, Samantha and Sandra who are equally wonderful. Thank you ALL so much for your time and effort in getting me to the finish line.

There is nothing that she cannot negotiate. She gets along with EVERYONE involved in a real estate transaction. She never has a bad or discouraging word to say about anyone or anything. There is nothing that she cannot negotiate. She gets along with EVERYONE involved in a real estate transaction. She never has a bad or discouraging word to say about anyone or anything. We just sold 3 family-owned properties that we inherited. Each one of these properties was “troubled” on different levels, including an undeveloped lot at Lake Tahoe. Even during this “slow” period in local real estate because of high mortgage rates, Gina closed 3 sales for amounts far beyond our asking prices. For instance, one of these 3 properties had a property line dispute—the neighbor had built a fence over and onto our property 70 years ago! Gina engineered a simplified survey that didn’t cost us a fortune, and all parties were happy (neighbor/buyer/us). We have never seen a problem that has stopped Gina from successfully buying and selling one of our properties. In addition, Gina’s work ethic astounds us. She was all business from day one and was very motivated to help us meet our goals. She had simple, worthwhile ideas to prepare our home for a quick sale, so we saw the biggest return possible. After almost 20 years of marriage to my high school sweetheart, the decision was made to sell our family home. Given that I was still living there with my 5 children and no support was coming from the other party and we could barely sit in the same room together, I had my doubts that she could make this work.
